It all started in 1958.In the beginning we had two mills, a lathe, a shaper, a surface grinder, and some welding equipment. We grew from a two-car garage to a 10,000 sq. ft building, doing work for such companies as Owens-Illinois and Crescent Engineering.This building was the foundation for our current 115,000 square foot facility. By accepting new technology and educating our employees, we were able to deliver on time quality machine tools at a competitive price.

The company was organized as a foundry to cast stove parts and assembled a quality line of heating and cooking stoves. The stoves became widely known in the industry under the "Buckeye" name.Under present ownership, which took over in 1942, the company expanded into the commercial casting field. Customers were developed in the air conditioning, transportation and power transmission industries. The conversion to commercial castings was completed in 1953 and all stove patterns were sold. The Ohio Stove Company changed its name to OSCO Industries, Inc., on its 100th anniversary, in 1972.
